I strive to capture real emotion in every photograph. I want my clients to feel confident in front of my camera, and in order to do so, I try to understand each and every person who steps in front of my camera - their personality, their passion, their relationships. I love hearing all about their big plans and being a part of the process, not just their photographer. Having a connection and getting to know my clients is so important. They become friends; they're a part of my life. They're not just clients.
To have a good photograph is something that captures their spirit, their essence, who they are. It's them in their truest form. The perfect photograph is the imperfect one. It's real life. Your photos should breathe emotion. When my clients feel comfortable, they get really natural, genuine images. And, those are the photos that will bring us back to a time that we cherish and hold on to with an unexplainable obsession. It's those times that put a smile on my face and warmth in my soul when I am able to create that for my clients. It's those times that make me fall in love with what I do and the perfectly imperfect all over again.
