My Favorite Things
I was born and raised in a rural Virginia town. I’m 24, full of spunk and ready for anything life throws my way! I’ve had a lot of adventures, but none of them compare to the joy I experience every day in my career, attempting to capture the wonder and ridiculousness that is life. I am easily amused and laugh a lot. I have tons of quirks and I’m certain you’ve never met anyone like me. I drink water like it’s going out of style, I take too many pictures of my cat and I engage in more therapeutic shopping than I should admit! I’m over- the-top in more than one way; I am impatient, a perfectionist and I'm way too hard on myself. I strive for the best in everything I do, and I never want to stop learning or growing. I am deathly afraid of spiders and ketchup grosses me out more than anything. And, I’m totally convinced What Not to Wear is the best show on earth!
I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I am so thankful for everything He has done in my life. He has given me the most amazing family in the world and they are by FAR the best part of my life! We have 7 pets that bark (and meow) way too much, but I couldn't live without them.
I love photography more than words can explain and I am the luckiest girl in the world to call this my career! I find that the more I shoot, the more I realize how important my relationship is with my clients! I love meeting new people and hearing their stories…my clients mean so much to me! There is just something so special in knowing that the images I capture will be passed down from generation to generation, full of love and emotion- nothing can beat that. I didn't find photography. Photography found me.
